TEEC receives grant

The Queensland Department of Environment and Heritage has made a grant of $17 307 towards weed eradication at Tinaroo.

TEEC has, this year, acquired the licence to the land on the southern side of Black Gully Road. It is our intention, over the next few years, to regenerate the bushland, remove weeds, build pathways and install interpretative signage. This new "Activity Reserve" will become a great place for members of the public to enjoy and students to work.

TEEC is grateful to the QLD Government for their support with this project.

TEEC also acknowledges the many hours of work put in by teacher, Darryl Dilger in the grant application process.
