Each year, Tinaroo Environmental Education Centre (TEEC) runs a Year 6 camp for students who attend Band 5 or 6 State Schools. The camp will run over five days and be organised in mid term 2 Usually week 5). The camp was run for the first time in 2019. Feedback has been very positive every year.

"The Year 6 Small Schools Camp at Tinaroo was of a high quality. Students learnt valuable life lessons in engaging activities such as canoeing, abseiling, hands on water conservation experiments and high ropes course. Our students were challenged and engaged every day. The students we sent have come back with higher self esteem, defined personal values and more resilience. I would not hesitate to send our future seniors on this camp again."
