  • Programs provided by this centre have a genuine focus on assisting teachers achieve outcomes in:
    • ​​Sustainability (a cross curriculum priority)
    • Personal and Social Well-Being (a general capability)

The initial expression of interest process

  • Expressions of Interest are only accepted online by selecting one of the EOI buttons below. 

  • Teachers must have their Principal's approval to submit an EOI

  • Residential camps: Year 6 and up need to plan for a minimum of 4 days on camp. This allows students to achieve greater personal and educational outcomes.

  • Occasionally special circumstances will apply for a shorter camp. Schools should discuss this with the TEEC Principal.

  • Successful applicants who have not visited this centre in the last two years will need to familiarise themselves with the facilities and curriculum offerings prior to their visit.

Residential camps

Tinaroo EEC operates over 2 campuses:

  • Black Gully (capacity up to 60 – 2 groups)
  • Barron River (capacity up to 120 – 4 to 6 groups)

Round 1: EOIs open (click the box below) at the beginning of 3rd term. They will open on the first Monday of term 3. Offers to schools will be made from Week 5 of term 3 onwards.

Round 2: The EOI process will remain open. Ongoing offers to schools will be made as required.

Day activities

Complete this form if you wish to apply for a full day or part day activity that is lead by our TEEC teaching staff on site or alternate site around Tinaroo Dam. Other locations might include Platypus day area, Camp Barrabadeen.

Facilities hire

Our centre is committed to welcoming local community groups and organisations the opportunity to use the below centre facilities, when they are not required by the centre, as they are important community assets for the benefit of the broader community.

  • Black Gully Foreshore, Amenities

To submit a hire expression of interest for 1 of our facilities this needs to be submitted 3 months prior to your preferred date. You must be at least 21 years old to hire a facility. Confirmation of your booking requires a completion of a hire agreement, copy of Public Lability Certificate and prior payment of the applicable hire fees.
