Improving energy efficiency is one of the most cost-effective ways of reducing greenhouse gas emissions both in Australia and around the world. Energy use is the dominant source of Australian greenhouse gas emissions, 55 per cent of total emissions are generated by the combustion of fuels to provide stationary energy. These emissions are expected to continue to grow.

1. List the 10 easy ways to cool global warming.

2. There are eleven topics below. Split your class into groups and use the information at this website, under the section called "What you can do to help", to become an expert on one of these topics. Your aim is discover ways to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Make notes on the facts outlined in one area and present your findings to the rest of the class.
