Lesson Purpose
- Gain a knowledge of the distribution, species variety and life cycle of bats.
- Recognise the importance of these flying mammals in our environment.
- Experience a close look at a number of species of live bats up close.
- Learn about the rescue and care for sick and injured bats on the Atherton Tablelands region.

Instructor's Skills
Jenny McLean is the owner/driving force behind the Tolga Bat Hospital. She is actively involved in rescuing, caring for, and releasing bats on the Tablelands.
General Comments
There is an additional $5.00 charge per student for the session. This session is offered as an evening activity during your camp. Sessions usually start at 7:30pm.
