Lesson Purpose

  1. To collect all the rubbish generated while on camp.
  2. To sort their rubbish into specific categories by using the model that we provide. Details of our system can be found here.
  3. To display all the rubbish on the final day of the camp and sort the rubbish into categories so the visual impact of the rubbish generated is very obvious.
  4. To realise the amount of material we send to landfill can be substantially reduced by sorting our rubbish.

Time Needed

The duration of your camp, the final activity needs about 40 mins.
